Midgard’s 10th anniversary

Midgard is now 10 years old. Congratulations!

I’ve been a lurker since 2000, when I was introduced to Midgard by Bergie and Jukka. (Links to their retrospects on the subject.)

Back then all I could do was copy other people’s website code, so bits of Greywolves website ended up on my own hobby sites. In 2001 Jukka got me recruited to a Midgard-powered company. Their website was using “classic” non-midcomized Midgard until early 2006. In 2006 I briefly worked for Nemein, and since that have maintained a site that Arttu built.

Midgard has been there through my whole working life, in a way connecting the path I’ve walked. It’s amazing to see where it has gone. I’d like to thank Bergie and Jukka, and everybody involved in the Midgard Project.
